The ANA 207Th Corps and ISAF Regional Command West (RC-W) today reached a new important goal in partnering to improve ANSF performances and to gain unity of effort for the stability and security in the western region of the Country.Today, for the first time, in Camp Zafar, home of ANA 207th Corps Headquarters, ANA and ISAF regional Commanders’ staff members participated to the Combined Staff Meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Brigadier General Mohiuddin Ghory, 207Th Corps Chief of Staff and co-chaired by Colonel Jesus De Miguel, RC-West Chief of Staff.
Today’s Combined Staff Meeting is also the first step towards the progressive integration at regional level of ANA and ISAF’s Headquarters, operation centres and planning cells.Colonel De Miguel, in his opening speech said: “the fully partnered and balanced relationship between ANA and ISAF’s leadership is vital for a mutual support between equal level partners to defeat the insurgency threatening to the stability in Afghanistan”.
