Ghowr Province has his Police Operations Mentor Liaison Team Lithuanian leaded

 The first Police Operations Mentor Liaison Team (POMLT-1) in the Ghowr Province of Afghanistan is beginning to establish its footprint. Thursday, November 25, the team took its first step to achieving its goal of a self sustaining Afghan National Police in Ghowr by hosting a meeting with the acting Provincial Chief of Police and Director of Training on Camp Whiskey.

Development Governance Working Group meets to shape Afghan health and education

Herat, Afghanistan (November 24) –Government representatives from Kabul and across western Afghanistan met today at Camp Arena, Herat province to discuss issues related to health care and education in western provinces.

200 children benefit of a new school in Tajek

Badghis, Afghanistan (November 24) –Yesterday took place the cutting ribbon ceremony for the new school in the vicinity of Tajek, Moqur district, province o Badghis. 200 children will benefit of the new school which has 4 equipped classrooms, an equipped teacher’s office, toilets, surrounding wall and a system to protect from floods.

Badghis police stations equipped for the winter time

Badghis, Afghanistan (November 22) – Members of the Spanish Police Operation Mentoring Liaison Team (POMLT) delivered on the 21 November, some winter equipment to the five police stations in Qal’ eh-ye now, province of Badghis.
