The Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) together with Women Affairs Department (DoWA), held workshop about “Child Protection”. Officials of Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) informed that this workshop was launched for three days in DoWA conference hall and most of the governmental and socials institution representative were participating.
Ahmad Sohail “Noori”, assistant of the AECID gender coordinators said that the related issues of the children had been discussed in fully detail by the participants and the trainer in this workshop.Mr. Noori added that the role of law in support children had been explained by the trainer and this awareness workshop has followed up by the one of AECID gender section trainer
Assistant of AECID gender coordinator also added that Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) had implemented and funded tens educational and awareness program related to women and children during the last years and is supposed to conduct similar workshops for Badghis women and children in current year.
At the same time, Director of Badghis Women Affairs Department thanked AECID for it constant cooperation and added, Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) has multilateral cooperation with DoWA during their presence in Badghis province.Madam Halima Rahpima, Director of Badghis Women Affairs Department, said that the conduction of the workshop for the support of the children had been effective and timely.
Madam Rahpima said that in attention to the challenges in the past, this generation is facing with the least attention. Rahpima asked all participants to share their learnt with the other people that they couldn’t participate to the workshop.
She showed hope that positive changes took place in the daily activities of the children all over the Badghis Province.To be mentioned, this awareness workshop became ended with the distribution of certificates to the participants.
