.Doctor Mohammad Jawed “Fazly”, in charge of AECID animal health section informs that 25 people of AECID paravets participated in this training workshop, that are working in Qadis, Jawand ,Moqur ,Abkamri and Qale-Now Districts.Doctor Fazly adds, Bala Morghab District Paravets couldn’t participate due to different reasons but they will be invited to another workshop in near future.Mr. Fazly added, Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) started this program two years ago in an effort to increase and develop their activities according to the needs of Badghis people.Authorities of Badghis Agriculture and Livestock Department (DAIL) thanked the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) for their assistance and asked AECID to continue to develop their programs.Doctor Abdul Hakim, Badghis Veterinarian Department director says, DAIL is trying to create more opportunities in order to develop agricultural and husbandry activities for Badghis farmers and livestock. Badghis is an agricultural province so the economy of the province will improve if the farmers and husbandry are supported.Director of Badghis Veterinarian point out, that in the past, there was little attention to the activities related to husbandry but presently it is a priorities for DAIL who will ask for the support of the other organization.At same time Maite Parrilla Naranjo, from the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) says, they have implemented a lot of Development project in agriculture section with collaboration of DAIL. She said that they have great achievement in this part.Madam Maite Parrilla Naranjo adds, as it is consider, Badghis people are more interested everyday in learning and improving their knowledge especially in agricultural and husbandry topics.Madam Naranjo added, that the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID is increasing the activities relating the agricultural and livestock areas in Badghis province this year.This workshop ended with the distribution of certification letter and animal health kids.
