Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) started new round of awareness and educational health program in Abkamri District of Badghis province with probable budget of 50 thousand USD. Responsible of Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) says, new round of Health Education started based on continuation of last Health Education programs, this program will continued for one more year and about 80 thousands of Abkamri District residents will be benefited.
These Responsible adding “TB awareness, EPI awareness, Diarrhea awareness, Malaria awareness, MCH, HIV, Hepatitis, Infants and child feeding, birth space and hygiene” are the topics which are included in this program.
Doctor Mohmmad Sadiq “Sarshar “Responsible of community event program of AECID says, new round of awareness and health education program in Abkamri District and it will be done through the 10 educated trainers in two section (men and women).
Doctor Mohammad Sadiq said that, these trainers constantly going to the fields and share their awareness and educational materials with the people of Abkamri.
Mr. Sarshar added the residents of Abkamri District entertaining the health field team and showed interest with the implementation of the program.
Doctor Sarshar adds that, health section of Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) has started awareness and education program from two years ago and at the first round of this program Qadis, Abkmari and Qale-Now will be covered.

At the same time the authorities of Public Health Department say, that Health Education is an effective program, and added that, these programs will raise knowledge and awareness level of population, and having a significant impact on health behavior practices.
Doctor Abdul Ghani responsible of public information of PHD says: first phase of this program conducted in different areas of Badghis province had a positive impact.
Public Health Department, public information officers expect that AECID will extend this program around the whole province of Badghis.
